Senior Data Architect |

Position Summary:
The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for developing
and delivering content to clients based on project mandates. Success in
this role will require close working relationships with subject matter
experts and analysis of existing processes, transactions, and data models.
As part of our team, the Developer will be responsible for data analysis
and development which may include the following:
Provide ETL expertise and solutions Development and delivery of business applications to clients Delivery of ad-hoc reports and multi-dimensional cubes Design, development, testing and support of business applications Gather and analyze client requirements Produce, publish and maintain documentation Participate in application design reviews Implement standard data management procedures Provide training to client resources Travel required
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Community College diploma 2 - 4 years experience in ETL design and development Solid SQL experience Experience in database modeling and design Solid understanding of data warehouse applications Good understanding of transactional applications PL/SQL experience would be an assest Unix experience would be an assest Oracle database administration experience would be an asset Experience with Data Stage and/or other ETL tool(s) Cognos product experience would be an asset Business Objects would be an asset Self-starter with the ablility to multi-task, establish priorities and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
